Casa das Eiras
In the heart of the Alto Douro, on the Tua River, in the transition between the region of Cima-Corgo and the Alto Douro, Casa das Eiras, in the village of São Mamede de Ribatua, dominates an imposing secular wine landscape. Engraved in stone on the central door of your cellar, is the date 1670 that gives us the idea of the tradition that wine has in this Quinta do Douro. With vines implanted in mosaic in an area of high altitudes, with transition soils with confluence of schist and granite, where quartz stones can be found, the wines reflect this "terroir", showing freshness, acidity and minerality in whites and aroma and structure in reds.
