Quinta da Casa Amarela Port Tawny 10 years
Tasting Notes
In the nose the young and fresh fruity aromas evolve into a set of aromas of nuts (nuts, figs, almonds), spices (vanilla, cinnamon), maintaining a good relationship of freshness and maturity. In the mouth the aromatic persistence, a consistent and lasting end allied to the age, does not leave anyone to forget it easily.
Winemaking
This is a traditional estate-bottled Porto wine produced in limited quantities, aged in the Douro and kept in “pipas” (550 l barrels) until bottling. Vinification in large tanks with foot treading and temperature control. It is a blend of several vintage wines with an average of 10 years.
Food Paring
Sharing the elegance of this wine with a refined combination of tastes with a good foie gras, a good dessert or at the end of the meal.
