Tasting Notes

Dark ruby color, intense aroma, complex, with notes of ripe black fruits, cherries, wood, spices and a powdery earthy smell. Concentrated in the mouth, fruity with balanced acidity, soft tannins and long finish. Partial aging in 500 liter French oak cask.

Winemaking

From the best vineyards in Valle Potier in the Douro, this wine comes from manual harvesting. Pre-fermentative maceration, fermentation at controlled temperature in stainless steel vats. The batch was partially aged in 500 liter French oak barrels.

Food Paring

Ideal to accompany roasted meat dishes, game, smoked meat, cod and cheeses.
